Description

The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Warming-up for a Spring Training game is versatile outfielder Butch Woyt. The right-handed hitter is a native of Linden, New Jersey. He served with the 1st Armored Division during the war. Woyt is shown taking batting practice as he makes a bid for the Cats' outfield. He is dressed in a baseball uniform and wearing number 23.
