    Wiley Clarkson Junior, newly elected president of the Fort Worth ex-students of the University of Texas, said that he expects the local group to take an active part in backing the proposed constitutional amendment enabling the university to borrow $10,000,000 from its permanent fund for construction of additional buildings. Clarkson was elected president of the ex-students at the annual Independence Day dinner at Hotel Texas. Clarkson is advertising manager of the Transit Grain Company and was a journalism major at the University of Texas which he attended 1935-1939. He served in the Army Air Force two years and received his discharge in November 1944. He lives at 1212 Dorothy Lane. In this picture, Clarkson is sitting on a sofa with legs crossed.
