Fire. Scenes of house after it burned. Clipping photograph caption: House of Death--A frame dwelling at 3227 Bideker where 2 year old Charles Ray Brown, Jr. lost his life in a fire Thursday morning despite the valiant rescue efforts of his 13 year old uncle, James Lee Rainey. A third child, Lois Dale Brown, one year, was saved by young Rainey. Partially burned frame house with furniture and debris in the front yard. There are also fire hoses in the yard. There are two men walking around the perimeter of the house.
