Description
Captain Frank Fox. Clipping text: War Front Housing Hard, But It's Tougher at Home. Although he was decorated with the Bronze Star for his outstanding studies in handling thousands of displaced persons in France, Capt. Frank Fox, now on terminal leave after 25 months service, has no suggestions for the housing problem at home. He returned to the States on New Year's Day and is, himself, temporarily lodged in the Victory Apartments until his new home is completed at 3200 McCart. He expects to move his family, his wife and three children, Patricia, Michael, and Prudence, by April 1. In France, Fox was commander of a group that followed the Army to take care of civilians who sifted through the lines and to arrange for deportation of foreigners, particularly, Middle Easterners. The last four months before he came home were spent in Germany as housing officer for the military government. Although his terminal leave lasts until March 20, he already has returned to his former position as assistant director for management of Federal Public Housing here.
