Motorcycle Patrolman W. T. McWhorter, also a pilot in the aerocade which left here Saturday morning on a goodwill mission for the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock and the Southwestern Aviation Exposition, is shown as he tagged Mrs. Verna Burns to sell her a ticket to the annual police ball March 5 at Lake Worth Casino. Patrolman McWhorter, wearing his police uniform, is handing Mrs. Burns a ticket. She is in the door of a small airplane. Star-Telegram Evening Edition February 25, 1946
