Description
Democratic executive committee is having breakfast at the Blackstone Hotel coffee shop. It has been some time since the executive committee held a meeting here. Fort Worth won over Austin for the meeting. In this picture is Mrs. Ross Woodall, Huntsville, Texas, publisher of the Huntsville Item and publicity director for the committee. Mrs. Woodall claims her paper is the oldest weekly in Texas and pointed with pride to the fact it will celebrate it's 100th birthday in 1950, not far behind Texas statehood. She is serving her third term on the committee. She is sitting at a dining table and posing for a picture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 22, 1946.
