Description

Movers took eight truck-trailer van loads of furniture, equipment and files from the Army Air Forces Training Command offices in the Texas & Pacific (T&P) station building, the first of nine such caravans in a record-breaking moving job which will transfer the Army Air Forces Training Command (AAFTC) from Fort Worth to Barksdale Field, Shreveport, thus ending one of the most important phases of Fort Worth's World War two records. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 20, 1946.
