Attendees and speakers at the joint annual meeting of the Texas Dairy Products Association and the Texas Division, American Dairy Association at Hotel Texas. Left to right, they are Harvey T. Smith, president of the two associations; A. J. Riddle, chairman of the quality committee of the National Cheese Institute of Kansas City, Missouri; C. N. Shepardson, dean of agriculture at Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College; and Grant J. Johnson, of Fort Worth, Texas, who was the first president of the Texas Dairy Products Association in 1936. All four men are standing against a bare wall, wearing suits.
