Two new Women's Army Corps (WAC) medical technician recruits, Mrs. Dorothy Edwards of Moody, Texas (left) and Mrs. Helen Clark of Weatherford, Texas (right) get a look at the uniform they will be wearing in a few weeks as they inspect the attire of Sergeant Evelyn McElroy (center) of the Fort Worth WAC recruiting district office. Mrs. Edwards' husband, Sergeant William Edwards, is in France, and Mrs. Clark is married to Lieutenant W. S. Clark of Camp Wolders near Mineral Wells, Texas. The two women are looking at the uniform worn by Sgt. McElroy. Mrs. Clark is wearing a dress with a flower and ribbon pinned to her jacket. She's wearing a hat. Mrs. Edwards is wearing a dress.
