    In observance of National Boy Scout Week the "Ad Altare Dei", the highest possible award for Catholic Boy Scouts, was presented by Reverend Thomas J. Taaffe, pastor of Holy Name Church, to four young Boy Scouts. Left to right, Joseph Holt, Joseph Nasche, Billy Brey and John J. Byrne are seen standing before the Reverend in their Boy Scout uniforms. Reverend Taaffe is penning a medal on John Byrne's uniform. Star-Telegram February 14, 1946
