E. C. Maxson, past commander of the Blackstone Post, American Legion, pins American Legion citizenship awards on Martha Callaway and Billy Reasoner at Amon Carter Riverside High School. The two were named the most outstanding students in the junior high grades. Martha is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Callaway, 2800 Marigold, and Billy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Reasoner, 209 N. Judkins. Mr. Maxson is pinning an award to Miss Callaway's shirt as a little boy stands next to them.
