Description

Fort Worth Golden Gloves boxer Thurman Van Sickle, Mansfield, Texas. Mr. Van Sickle will be representing Fort Worth, replacing the ailing Aubrey "Fatty" Martin at the Texas Golden Gloves Tournament to be held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Mr. Van Sickle is in a fighter's pose, wearing silk boxing shorts embroidered "Ft. Worth." He is also wearing boxing shoes, and stands on a wooden gymnasium floor.
