Cadet sponsors just re-elected for the spring semester by the three Reserve Officer Training Corps companies at J. P. Elder Junior High School are, left to right, Doris Jean Blessing, Barbara Brown, Margaret Ann Eiland and Mrs. Almena Johnson, faculty sponsor. Mrs Almena Johnson, speech teacher at the school, was re-elected faculty sponsor and given an honorary commission of lieutenant colonel. The sponsors are given honorary ranks of majors. The commandant of the cadet corps is Sergeant Edward J. Wasserbach and principal of the school is R. G. Wilkerson.
