Draft Board members service awards. Arch Parnum, right, a clerical audit supervisor at state Selective Service headquarters in Austin, formerly was chief clerk of Draft Board 5 in Tarrant County. Reverend Hayden Edwards, left, is leader in county war bond drives, who asked to do the invocation at the luncheon at the Hotel Texas. Mr. Parnum and Mr. Edwards sitting at a table exchanging smiles.
