Description
Miss Mary B. Buckingham of Louisville, Kentucky, representative of Family Welfare Association of America was in Fort Worth to consult with Miss Sarah S. Gardner, executives of the Family Service Association and board members regarding development of a local program. She hoped that the agency here might become a member of the national association if it meets the standards. Miss Buckingham will go to Dallas Tuesday to complete her tour of all family agencies in Texas. The national headquarters of the Association is in New York City. Miss Buckingham is seated in an office chair and facing slightly to the left. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 1946.
