Draft Board members who served several thousand Tarrant County soldiers, sailors and marines, were recognized by Brigadier General J. Watt Page, State Selective Service director, for their voluntary, unpaid services. Three members of the Appeal Board 8 in attendance are, seated left to right, George Farmer, C. W. Woodman and Marvin Rall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 5, 1946.
