    Draft Board members who served several thousand Tarrant County soldiers, sailors and marines, were recognized by Brigadier General J. Watt Page, State Selective Service director, for their voluntary, unpaid services. General Page is shown pinning the Selective Service ribbon, with its orange and blue striped ribbon, on Brown Harwood, who has served as draft board member in two wars. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 5, 1946.
