Description
Doctor Charles E. Oswalt, former lieutenant commander in the Navy, received his discharge January 14 at Cabaniss Air Field, Corpus Christi, where he had been serving as senior medical officer and flight surgeon since his return from overseas duty 12 months ago. For two years he served as flight surgeon on a carrier in the Pacific. He participated in the Marianas campaign. He and his wife, Mrs. Eugenia Oswalt and their young son, Charles III have returned to Fort Worth to enter private practice. Before entering the Navy, he was an intern at the City-County Hospital here. He is the son of Mrs. Mary Lewis Oswalt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 4, 1946.
