Shown here are Caroline Ruth Griffin, 14 months, and her aunt, Mrs. Joe B. Davis. Mrs. Davis is sitting in a chair and holding the baby in her arms. Mrs. Davis rescued the baby from a pond and helped speed her to a hospital. The baby is okay. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 3, 1946.
