Reverend (Rev.) George F. Kornegay is shown in bed after he was beaten and robbed. Late Tuesday five young men beat and robbed him on the highway near Cresson and took all of his personal belongings except his Bible, which he holds as he recuperates at his home, 3951 Mount Vernon. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 31, 1946.
