Back row, standing from left to right, Charles Gearing of Dallas Citadel who was the winner and will compete Saturday night in the state finals at Wichita Falls; Max Carter of Corsicana, second place winner, and James Jap of Dallas Compton Citadel. All men and women are wearing uniforms. These young Salvation Army workers competed Thursday night in an evangelistic oratorical contest at the Fort Worth Citadel.
