Shown here are Mrs. Ruth C. Taylor, owner and operator of the Mid-West Airport, Inc., and Mr. Bourland, Tax Assessor-Collector. They are standing in a room. Mrs. Taylor is wearing a fur coat and Mr. Bourland is wearing suit and tie, and a pair of eyeglasses. Mrs. Taylor, is receiving auto license from Mr. Bourland. Auto license tag number FH 7700, the first to be sold in Tarrant County in 1946, was handed over to Mrs. Ruth C. Taylor. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, Feb. 1, 1946.
