Description

The Fort Worth North American Aviation (NAA) chapter meeting and dinner had Major General Frederick L. Anderson, Army Air Forces personnel chief as guest speaker. He has arrived at the Fort Worth train station and is greeted by left, Colonel Delmar Spivey, and Colonel Joe Kelly, right, who are both deputy chiefs of staff at the Army Air Forces Training Command. They both served under General Anderson during his command of the 8th Air Force Bomber Command in the European Theater of Operations. Spivey recalls that a years ago he was a war prisoner in Germany. They are standing next to each other on the railroad station platform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 31, 1946.
