Description

The Fort Worth North American Aviation (NAA) chapter meeting and dinner had Major General Frederick L. Anderson, Army Air Forces personnel chief as guest speaker. Sitting at the reception table are, left to right, Homer Covey, Chamber of Commerce president; R. W. Cantwell, NAA chapter president, and Major General, speaking at the podium. Behind him is a map of the North Pole as he spoke about air power protecting the great North Gate of America over the North Pole. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 31, 1946.
