Admiring the healthy lungs of his namesake is Frank Bailey, left, Shannon ambulance attendant who last Wednesday delivered Frances Lee Durrett in the ambulance while Eddie Workman, right, raced the ambulance to a hospital. They returned the baby and mother, Mrs. S. E. Durrett, to their home at 2020 N. Jones Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Bailey and Mr. Workman are standing near the bed and looking at the baby while Mrs. Durrett and baby daughter are lying on the bed. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 30, 1946.
