    Description

Since the return of Mack McGinley, George Addington, Bill Douglas and Dick Koon from the service, the advertising department is back to prewar normal and rearing to clutter up the paper with piles and piles of column inches of ads. The old paper shortage is still with us, and suffice to say that no one at present is overworked. The length of service of the lot, with the paper is as follows: Seated, front row, left to right, Bill Douglas, Bush Jones, Gordon Smedley A. L. Shuman, Homer Belew, Roy G. Tomlinson. Standing, left to right, J. H. Bullock, Dick Koon, I. E. McWhirter, George Addington, Mack McGinley, Ray Lee, Thurman Berry, Jack Parchman, Otto V. Campbell and Stanley Lauder. The total number of years for the above 16 of active service with the Star-Telegram is 323 years. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, February 1, 1946.
