    Description

    J. McCarthy, General Yardmaster for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad Company's Fort Worth facility, gives donated money to Jack Renner. The approximately $400 was contributed by 243 employees and friends of the railway so the North Side High School student might purchase an artificial limb. Mr. Renner had recently lost his right leg by amputation. Mr. Renner is laying in a bed. There is a dresser with mirror behind Mr. McCarthy. Mr. McCarthy is wearing a suit with a vest and tie.
