Description
Pete the possum shown with his captor, Joe Snow, night attendant at a garage. Pete the possum was strolling through downtown Fort Worth, Texas, on Throckmorton between 4th and 5th streets, when Mr. Snow spotted him and gave chase. Pete the Possum is being held on top a cardboard box while Joe is kneeling behind the box. Pete the possum is likely to go free since meat rationing is over. Mr. Snow is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and a leather jacket. There is a row of boxes and a poster behind Mr. Snow. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 7, 1946.
