Description
Shown are two cabooses and the baggage car of a Fort Worth and Denver City freight train were lifted from the tracks, flung through the air, and deposited in a creek bed by a tornado. The tracks are five miles south of Decatur. In the background is the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Lisby, which was unroofed and damaged by the tornado. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition January 05, 1946.
