Description
Portrait painted by Nazi prisoner of war. Mrs. Cornelia Youngblood stands by her portrait, which was painted by a German war prisoner in France. The Nazi soldier did the painting using the photograph Mrs. Youngblood is holding and crude materials salvaged from the prison camp. The portrait was sent to Mrs. Youngblood from a friend of hers who is an officer at the camp. Mrs. Youngblood is shown wearing a blouse and a skirt. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition January 05, 1946.
