    Description

    Major Warren C. McMordie, on terminal leave from the United States Army Postal Service, was back at his desk as chief clerk in the office of A. S. Hargrove, post office inspector in charge of the Fort Worth, Texas district. He is wearing his military uniform. There is a pile of documents on the desk. An unidentified man is sitting at another desk in the background. Major McMordie entered the inspector's office in Austin, Texas, in 1919, and moved with it to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1932. He left his post in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1942 and has subsequently served as postal officer at Fort Worth Army Air Field, Randolph Field and Scott Field, Illinois.
