Description
Jack Wood wearing a hat for first time in twenty-nine years. Mr. Wood is the unofficial president of the Hat Haters Club. His change of heart came Christmas morning when he found a gift certificate from his wife "good for one hat". He figured that was a pretty good hint. He is sitting at a cluttered desk wearing a double breasted suit and his new hat. There is another desk behind Mr. Wood covered in papers and books. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 3, 1946.
