Description
E. B. Wood, construction foreman for Fort Worth Transit Company has acted as demolition expert in dismantling the 24 "Cattle buses." that were pressed into service to handle the city's wartime volume of passenger traffic. Mr. Wood is standing in the bed of the truck with a sledgehammer swung over his shoulder. He is wearing a ski hat, plaid shirt, coat, and jeans. There are rows of buses in the lot behind him. There are houses, automobiles and a factory in the distance. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 30, 1945.
