Betty Claire Schmid, left, and Polly Riley are competing in the annual junior golf tournament sponsored by the Fort Worth Women's Golf Association at River Crest Country Club. They are shown walking down a road, both holding golf clubs. Miss Schmid is wearing a blouse and shorts. Miss Riley is wearing a dress and a hat. Miss Schmid won the title at the 1939 tournament and Miss Riley was runner-up.
