Description
Camp Fire Girls left to right, Billye Lowe, Wanda Rigney, Patsy Evans, and Betty Smothers. Thirteen Fort Worth, girls (four pictured) received the ranking of torch bearer, the highest rank in the Camp Fire Girls. They received the awards from their parents at a Council Fire ceremony. The girls are standing next to each in an angled stance to the right, in front of a large window. They are wearing their Camp Fire Girl uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 23, 1945.
