At the Fort Worth Day Nursery's Christmas party, Audrey Box, three, left, and Linda Barnett, two, shown receiving gifts from Santa Claus (Thomas Ryan). Santa Claus is kneeling to the level of the children while handing out the presents. More than one-hundred children attended the Christmas party. Audrey is wearing a button-up shirt and trousers. Linda is wearing a dress. There is a large decorated Christmas tree behind them with presents stacked underneath. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 21, 1945.
