Description

Fred Taylor of Denison, Texas, left, was named captain of the 1946 Texas Christian University (TCU) Horned Frogs football squad. He is a veteran of the Aleutian campaign and earned a letter at TCU in 1941. Henry Rose, right, senior tackle, of New Braunfels, Texas, was named co-captain. Coach Dutch Meyer is shown in the center. Mr. Taylor is wearing a suit with a striped dress shirt and necktie. Coach Meyer is wearing a three piece suit. Mr. Rose is wearing a double breasted suit.
