    Description

Fort Worth residents buttoned up their overcoats when they went to work. One of the coldest jobs in town belonged to J. B. Cope, 1124 Barclay Street, Fort Worth, Texas, who has been delivering ice for 27 years and didn't let the weather bother him. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 19, 1945.
