These four Wichita Falls High School backs are planning some fancy plays against Highland Park's Scotties for the Texas schoolboy semifinal football game at Farrington Field. They are, top left, Bobby Rogers, blocking back; bottom left, "Smoky Joe" Tidwell, fullback, punter and point-kicking expert; bottom right, Billy Pyle, left half and breakaway runner; top right, Lindy Berry, tailback and passer. They are wearing their football uniforms and helmets.
