Marine Technician Sergeant Grady Helm, son of Mrs. Grady H. Helm, did have a Christmas this year even if he didn't get to celebrate it at home. December 25 was checked off his calendar last year when his ship crossed the international date line. Helm is a Paschal High School graduate and saw service in the Pacific theater. Mr. Helm is wearing his military uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 26, 1945.
