Description
Richard C. Noon, left, of Pangburn Candy Company, and Ruth Carter delivering packages to Joe Atkins, of the American Legion. Ruth is dressed in a Red Cross uniform. Between Ruth and Mr. Noon is a stack of cardboard boxes. On one of the boxes is a drawing of Santa Claus. Mr. Atkins is standing behind a booth. Written on the booth is, "Gifts for the Yanks who gave." The gifts of 200 pounds of candy were given to servicemen and women in five Texas hospitals from female employees of Pangburn Candy Company.
