Marchesa Anna Bartolini-Salimbeni, American art student who studied in Italy and married there before war, is shown with her 3-year-old son, Alessandro. She was in Italy throughout the German occupation and returned to this country this fall. She is visiting her sister, Mrs. W. S. Thompson. She is sitting on a couch, wearing a dress, with her son in her lap. He is wearing a striped shirt and shorts.
