Hopkins, left, state Baptist Sunday School secretary, Dallas, Texas, presenting an award to the Evans Avenue Baptist Church as the first in Tarrant County to reach the "standard of excellence" prescribed by the Denominational Sunday School Board at Nashville, Tennessee. Receiving the banner is Cecil Moore, center, superintendent of the Sunday School, and Reverend Loyed R. Simmons, right, Evans Avenue Baptist Church pastor. The banner reads, "A Standard School 1945-46." All three men are wearing suits.
