Description
Lloyd George, left a job in the accounting department of Texas Electric Service Company to go into the Army in June 1943. He was sent to India in January 1944, as a corporal in the adjutant general's department, with the job of seeing that soldiers and officers in that theater got their pay on time. He was discharged last October 31 and is back at his desk with the electric company and glad to be at home at 1028 East Powell with his wife and daughter, Lois Jean George, 13. Mr. George is standing against a wall wearing eyeglasses, a long sleeve shirt, tie, and slacks. Star-Telegram Evening Edition December 8, 1945
