John P. Allen has retired from the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company after working there for 23 years. Mr. Allen worked as a general car foreman. Prior to going to work for the railroad, Allen was a general contractor and also worked for Swift and Company and the Magnolia Petroleum Company refinery. Mr. and Mrs. Allen have three children, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is shown sitting in a chair, wearing a button-up shirt, vest and trousers.
