Description

Miss Birdie Flippo, former WAC sergeant in Germany, began work with the sheriff's office here Thursday as stenographer and custodian of the civil docket. She was discharged recently from Army service after serving two years and 10 months. She was overseas for four months at Frankfurt, Germany and was stenographer in the I. G. Farbenindustrie there after the American occupation. She appears to be wearing her uniform and standing in front of a wall.
