Description
George W. Green has 11 submarine patrols in Japanese-held waters listed in his naval record. Mr. Green is an ex-fire controlman first class, who has been discharged after three years of fleet duty. Of his service aboard three different subs, Mr. Green has reported that he and his gun crews sank over 30 enemy vessels. Besides the regular campaign ribbons, Mr.Greene also won the Dolphin Pin and the Submarine Combat Insignia with nine stars. He is standing against a wall, wearing a collared, button-up shirt and a coat.
