Masons Left to right, Frank C. Patton, Omaha, Nebraska; John H. Cowles, Washington, D. C.; W. Steve Cooke and Joshua K. Shepherd both of Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Patton is leaning on a pillar. He's wearing a three piece suit with a polka dot bowtie. Mr. Cowles is wearing vest, necktie, coat, and trousers. Mr. Cooke is wearing a light-color, double breasted suit and dark glasses. Mr. Shepherd is leaning on the other pillar. He is wearing a double breasted suit. Behind the men are three armchairs and intricate wood work along the walls. Mr. Cowles, sovereign grand commander of the Scottish Rite crowned W. Steve Cooke the titular head of the Scottish Rite in Texas in a secret Masonic ceremony.
