This picture was taken immediately after the press conference at General Jonathan M. Wainwright's headquarters in the Fort Worth Club. Left to right are Colonel O. I. Holman, aide to General Wainwright; Walter R. Humphrey, editor of the Fort Worth Press; General Wainwright; Lieutenant Colonel Marshall Kennady of the 27th Battalion, Texas State Guard; and William Holden, executive vice president of the Chamber of Commerce. Col. Holman is wearing his military uniform, Mr. Humphrey is wearing a suit, General Wainwright and Lt. Col. Kennady are wearing military uniforms, and Mr. Holden is wearing a pinstriped suit.
