These boys were selected as the Star-Telegram's All-District 7-AA team through a poll of coaches and sports writers. They are, left to right, front row: Bob Vann, North Side High School; Johnny McClendon, Technical High School; Jimmy Eagle, Amon Carter Riverside High School; Billy Joe McPherson, Amon Carter Riverside; Sam Adams, Amon Carter Riverside. Back row, left to right: Danny Walker, Paschal High School; Dick Lipscomb, Paschal; Wallace Hooper, North Side; Charles Johnson, North Side; Elvis Anderson, Paschal, and Carroll Baird, Paschal. Vann is wearing a shirt, coat and cowboy boots. The others on the front row are wearing their respective school's letterman jackets. Walker is wearing Paschal's letterman. Lipscomb is wearing a leather jacket. Hooper is wearing a dark-colored button-down shirt. Johnson is wearing a leather jacket. Anderson is wearing Paschal's letterman. Baird is wearing a plaid button-down shirt.
